You should review your lease to see if there are any clauses for Assigning a lease or Subletting. For assigning a lease this means you are transferring all your rights and obligations under the lease to someone else and subletting means you transferring part of your rights and responsibilities to someone else, but you are still legally responsible. Each landlord could have different requirements so best to check your lease. After that I would reach out to your landlord or property manager to discuss it as well.
